Description
The Node.js Back End Developer / API Developer supports secure back-end application and API development for the DD Council reporting portal. This role develops and maintains services for data collection, validation, workflow management, reporting, audit trails, role-based access controls, integration with Government-approved systems, data extraction, and transition support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance back-end services and APIs for the secure reporting portal.
- Support data collection, automated validation, workflow processing, reporting, data extractions, audit trails, role-based access, and system administration capabilities.
- Cook up with front-end, DevSecOps, QA/accessibility, security/ATO, data analysis, and project management staff to deliver complete portal functionality.
- Support integration with Government-approved systems, data portability, source code repositories, system documentation, and transition readiness.
- Ensure back-end/API deliverables support security, privacy, records management, ATO, data handling, performance, availability, and accessibility-related requirements.
Requirements
- Experience developing, testing, maintaining, or enhancing back-end services and APIs using Node.js or comparable server-side technologies.
- Experience supporting secure reporting systems, data collection applications, workflow processing, automated validation, reporting, role-based access, or audit logging.
- Familiarity with Federal security, privacy, data protection, ATO support, records management, access control, and cloud application requirements.
- Experience supporting data exports, integrations, documentation, source code repositories, configuration files, and transition materials.
- Ability to support UAT, defect correction, performance monitoring, operational support, and coordinated releases with front-end and DevSecOps teams.
