Node .js and React Architect

Job Summary

Senior Node.js & React Architect to develop an open source, enterprise web framework. One App is the open source, enterprise web framework that powers digital experiences. It's a fresh take on web application development which consists of a Node.js server serving up a single page app built using React components and utilizes Holocron, our open-source library for building and composing micro frontends to allow for code splitting via independently developed, tested, and deployed Holocron Modules (micro frontends).

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems with simple solutions
• Anticipate the needs of users and the enterprise
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and speaking
• Develop intuitive, functional, and extensible APIs
• Design cross-platform components and libraries for future reuse and open source
• Optimize software for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers
• Automate builds, testing, deployments, and other manual processes
• Review pull requests and identify breaking changes
• Implement performance optimization techniques to enhance application speed and responsiveness
• Conduct architectural design and innovative thinking
• Write effective unit and integration tests using React Testing Library
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Node.js and React.js solution developer
• Familiarity with React tools such as Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Understanding of Accessibility and Web Standards
• Knowledge of React and its core principles
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript

Qualifications

• Open-source mindset, understanding of how and when to split functionality into reusable libraries that can benefit the whole OSS community beyond the enterprise

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React
• Experience with React Testing Library for writing effective unit and integration tests
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Expertise in performance optimization techniques to enhance application speed and responsiveness
