About the Role
The Division of Hospital Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center is seeking a full-time Nocturnist Physician. The successful candidate will be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Consideration will be given to both experienced physicians and graduating residents/fellows.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care during night shifts
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in teaching and mentoring of medical students and residents
- Contribute to the division's research initiatives
- Engage in quality improvement projects
- Support medical education efforts
Requirements
- Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Experience in hospital medicine or relevant field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for academic and clinical advancement
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
