About the Role

You will work a flexible schedule, typically involving dedicated inpatient shifts (e.g., 7-on/7-off or similar models).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, diagnostic workups, and discharge planning.
- Manage a diverse range of acute medical conditions with strong clinical acumen.
- Collaborate closely with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Attend interdisciplinary or nursing rounds and communicate daily with the care team.
- Render quality medical services, including appropriate referrals, follow-up, and hospitalization.
- Oversee the inpatient experience, including follow-up care for patients in the outpatient realm.
- Communicate health status and treatment plans to patients, families, and hospital staff.
- Document patient care and billing information completely.
- Assist in reviewing workflow, office practices, and objectives.
- Teach medical students, residents, and others in graduate health education programs.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of medical ethics and customary practice.
- Exceptional clinical skills in inpatient medicine and a passion for providing compassionate, high-value care to acutely ill patients.
- Doctorate of Medicine required.
- Current Physician License in the state of Colorado.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Other certifications may be required depending on practice setting or credentialing requirements.
- Physical ability to perform medium work (exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly).

- Competitive base salary guaranteed for up to three years (Nocturnist workload is 12 shifts a month or 144 shifts a year; shift rate is $2,337.89/shift).

$320,000 - $340,000 per year.
