Responsibilities
- Assisting students in achieving academic success.
- Working with students who may be aggressive or disruptive in class.
- Behavior support includes physical management and monitoring (training provided upon hire).
- Social integration.
- Consultation and collaboration with special education teachers and related service staff.
Qualifications
- Must have an AA/AS degree, 60+ college credits, or pass the ParaPro/ParaPathways Test within 6 months of employment.
Pay
The salary for this position will be in accordance with the AFSCME Master Agreement Salary Schedule. $18.75-$22.03 based on experience.
Schedule
Duty Days: Follows student calendar, last day of school June 4, 2026. 28.75 hours a week (8:15-2:30pm), and a half hour unpaid lunch.
