NJ Facility Seeks a Locums Psychiatrist

Full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday) with no call or weekend coverage required. You will see approximately 16 patient encounters per day, including 2‑3 new patients daily, working with an older adult population that has dual diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatry services to older adults with dual diagnosis.
• Manage patient encounters and follow‑up care as part of the inpatient team.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Adult or Geriatric Psychiatry.
• Prior inpatient psychiatry experience.
• Experience working with older adult and dual diagnosis populations.

Pay

Hourly rate range: $185.00 – $220.00 (all‑inclusive, includes base pay plus potential overtime, call, and holiday pay; actual rate depends on position critical need, experience, qualifications, and other factors).

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; no call or weekend coverage required.
