NJ Certified Medication Aide 7A-3P FT w/ E/O Weekend

About the role

The Bristal Assisted Living seeks compassionate and dedicated Medication Aides/Technicians to assist residents in managing their medications. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and consistency of medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Help residents take their medications safely, consistently, and as directed by their physicians
• Manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for residents
• Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents, while following company policies and procedures
• Follow Medication Administration Records (MAR) and doctors’ orders

Qualifications

• Maintain an abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times
• Reliable, dependable, and observant
• Must have at least an HHA certificate
• Must hold a New Jersey state med tech certification to apply for this position
