About the role
NISSAN is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join their team at Passport Automotive Group in Suitland, MD.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
- Service and repair all types of Nissan vehicles, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with customers about service needs and costs.
- Adhere to quality control standards and maintain accurate records of repairs.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and diagnostic techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Experience with common automotive systems such as engine, transmission, and braking systems.
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance and preventative care.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor tasks.

Pay
Wage/Salary Compensation Information: Automotive Technician - 20 per flat rate hour up to 45 per flat rate hour potential.
Schedule
5 Day work schedule with NO Sundays and Flexible Schedules.
