About the role
As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our customers' vehicles. In this position, you will be responsible for replacing worn-out or damaged parts, conducting routine maintenance and inspections, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and replace worn-out or damaged parts
- Perform routine maintenance, including fluid changes and filter replacements
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor time
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing detailed explanations of repairs and recommendations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- 2+ years of experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Strong knowledge of automatic and manual transmissions
- Proficient in a variety of repair equipment
- ASE certification or Manufacturer certifications a plus
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliability
