National Institute of Immunology (NII), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, invites applications for a Research Associate-I/SRF (Project) position in Delhi. The selected candidate will support molecular genetics research on an ANRF-funded project.

About the role

The engagement level—Research Associate-I or Senior Research Fellow (SRF)—will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Selection is entirely through an online interview scheduled for 27 August 2026.

Qualifications

• Research Associate-I: PhD in any branch of Biological Science with adequate training in molecular genetics.
• SRF: M.Sc./M.Tech. in any area of Life Sciences with a good academic record, minimum 2 years' laboratory research experience in molecular genetics, and a cleared National Level Eligibility Test (NET/GATE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Conduct molecular genetics research as part of the ANRF-funded project at NII.

Pay

• Research Associate-I: ₹58,000 per month + 30% HRA.
• SRF: ₹42,000 per month + 30% HRA.
