Night Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Night Warehouse Supervisor based out of our Madison, WI Headquarters. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 5 locations. This is a hands-on, working second shift supervisor position, starting at 5 PM and going until the work is complete. The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for supervising a group of warehouse employees, assigning tasks, and ensuring proper resource usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in shipping/receiving, loading and unloading of trucks, and checking-in merchandise.
• Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse for company personnel and visitors.
• Read pick tickets and/or requisitions to select and assemble products for customer orders.
• Implement established food safety practices throughout all warehouse employees.
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 2-4 years of related experience.
• Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required.
• Previous warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be a self-directed individual with the ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Obtain licensure to operate warehouse equipment within the first 30 days.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow all safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, push/pull, lift/carry up to 75 lbs. or more, and perform tasks requiring reaching, kneeling, crawling, bending, or stooping.

Pay

$50k - $60k, dependent on experience.

Schedule

• Start Time: 5 PM
• Days Off: Saturday + Alternating Wednesday/Fridays
