Night Warehouse Order Selector

Graves Foods is a 75-year-old wholesale foodservice distribution company located throughout the Midwest. We deliver quality foodservice products to nursing homes, schools, restaurants, and other foodservice providers. About the role

An Order Selector at Graves Foods plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders in a warehouse environment. This position involves selecting, packing, and shipping products to meet customer orders and maintain inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Select and handle product, palletizing it neatly on pallets.
• Identify items for selection and ensure order accuracy using a voice picking system.
• Operate a stand-up/reach truck forklift safely and efficiently to transport product.
• Maintain safety and productivity benchmarks as a minimum requirement.
• Keep workspace and equipment organized and neat.
• Regular, timely attendance as defined by the attendance policy.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
• Previous experience operating a stand-up/reach truck forklift and other warehouse equipment is preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines and case-per-hour requirements.
• Ability to listen, understand, and respond to instructions.
• Operate within Standard Operating Procedure and follow OSHA guidelines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Voice picking experience is preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–12:00 AM, plus overtime as needed.

Pay

Starting at $17.20 per hour.
