Night Tower Loader (Shift)

About the role

Our company is seeking a Tower Loader responsible for moving pallets of merchandise from staging areas and loading trailers. This fast-paced role requires individuals who are highly organized, energetic, and active, contributing to feeding local communities.

Responsibilities

• Loading full pallets into trailers, using forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and clamp machines
• Inspecting trailers for damage
• Verifying loads with RF handhelds or voice pick systems
• Wrapping pallets
• Performing equipment inspections
• Safely lifting products
• Maintaining a clean work area
• Supporting other job duties as needed
• Ensuring damage-free loading
• Maintaining safety
• Supporting efficient operations
• Adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications & Skills

• One or more years of sit-down forklift operation experience
• Previous loading experience
• Strong safety awareness
• Team-oriented attitude
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Physical ability to lift 1-60 lbs frequently, walk on various surfaces, and work at varying heights
• Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment safely
