NIGHT TIME PORTER

About the role

Griffin Parking Area Maintenance, Inc. is looking for a Hands On, Team Oriented Porter with a will‑do Attitude to ensure properties are litter free, trash bags emptied and bulk material removed for a safer environment. The porter will work at multiple properties on specified runs in diverse counties and will be trained to become a Sweeper.

Responsibilities

• Work at multiple properties on specified runs in various counties.
• Ensure properties are litter free by emptying trash bags and removing bulk material.
• Perform porter duties to maintain a safe, clean parking lot.
• Receive training to become a Sweeper.
• Follow instructions from property managers to satisfy their needs efficiently.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and present either a Social Security card or birth certificate/passport when reporting to the office.
• Must not currently be employed (to avoid insurance liability).
• Must be able to work overnight shifts starting at 8:30 PM and continuing until the job is completed.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must be available to work some holidays and all weekends; weekend‑off requests require advance notice slip for approval.
• Must be able to get adequate sleep for an overnight position.
• Must demonstrate a hands‑on, team‑oriented, will‑do attitude.

Pay

$17.00 per hour, with overtime eligibility.

Schedule

Full‑time overnight shift; work begins at 8:30 PM each day and continues until the assigned tasks are completed. Work includes some holidays and all weekends; weekend‑off requests must be submitted with ample notice for approval.
