Night shift warehouse associate Monday to Thursday (2nd shift)

Position Summary

Freight Handlers are responsible for moving packages between trailers, conveyors, and staging areas. This position involves continuous physical activity and requires employees to work efficiently while keeping freight organized and handling packages safely.

Your Responsibilities

• Load packages from conveyor lines directly into trailers
• Remove freight from incoming trailers and place it onto conveyor systems
• Use handheld scanners to track and process packages
• Sort packages into the appropriate cages and staging locations
• Move freight cages as needed throughout the facility
• Arrange packages properly to help maximize trailer space
• Maintain a steady work pace while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Earning Potential

This position offers production-based pay, meaning your earnings can increase as your productivity increases.

• Typical earnings: $16–$25/hour
• High-performing employees may earn $25–$35/hour
• Compensation is based on trailers/cases successfully handled
• Employees who work efficiently have the opportunity to increase their hourly earnings

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday | 7:00 PM–5:30 AM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Three days off each week
• Additional weekend shifts may occasionally be available or required depending on operational needs

• Dependable and consistently on time
• Comfortable performing physical work for an extended period
• Able to repeatedly lift and move packages weighing 5–50 lbs.
• Comfortable working on their feet in a fast-moving environment
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Focused on accuracy while maintaining productivity
• Team-oriented and willing to contribute wherever needed
• Able to provide reliable transportation to the West Jordan facility
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening
