Night Shift Shipping Clerk

The Plastipak Shipping Clerk is responsible for all phases of operation of the shipping and receiving office including loading and unloading trucks via forklift. We Offer Opportunity. You Will Adhere to all procedures within Safety, Corporate/Site Quality System, Operation Procedures, and Good Manufacturing PracticesCoordinate the loading of and ensures proper documentation for all outbound and inbound shipments and shuttlesHousekeeping of the office and warehouse areasOperate forklift to load and unload trailersUse RF scanning device to scan goods and properly maintain inventoryProvides instruction to shuttle driver and manages pool of trailersMonitors availability of product for shipments. Works with manufacturing warehouse to coordinate loads to outside warehousesResponsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate actionPerforms all other duties as assigned You Have Team OrientedStrong communication skillsFlexibility of job assignmentsStrong computer skillsSelf-motivatedAble to work overtime, as neededMinimum of one year of forklift experience is required.Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly.Regularly stand or sit for long periods of time, up to 12 hours at a time.Bend, lift and walk around facility as needed.
