Apply for the overnight shift: Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 pm to 6:15 am and Wednesday 6:00 pm to 6:15 am.
About the role
Coordinate and monitor daily production for the machine process. Assist in ensuring that acceptable production rates are maintained and customer dates are met. Serve as the first level of supervision for Production Associates and Machine Operators.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all necessary supplies are continuously available for production.
- Responsible for machine/production line set-ups, change-overs, and machine process set-up.
- Verify that the correct packaging material is in use.
- Correct all workstation errors as quickly as possible and make minor adjustments and repairs on machines to keep the process operational.
- Monitor expected job rate hourly for productivity purposes.
- Work with Quality to report defective products or packaging and ensure quality requirements are being met.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of production orders and labor allocation forms.
- Ensure that workstations and daily orders run smoothly and work properly for effective and efficient completion.
- Assist with training and mentoring employees on expected tasks.
- Correctly complete necessary paperwork.
- Ensure the production floor is a safe environment, free from hazards.
- Seek continuous improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- 1–2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
- On-the-job training provided.

- Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer-specific policies, ISO, GMPs, USDA, regulatory food safety, and food defense.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens, and other communication.
- Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers.
- Must be able to reach, touch, and grasp.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull, and push.
- Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor.
- Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
- Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 35 pounds.
Schedule
Overnight shift: Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 pm to 6:15 am and Wednesday 6:00 pm to 6:15 am.
