About the Role
Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a Warehouse Order Selector, you’ll be on your feet for up to 10 hours of work, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in our freezer. No experience is required—we train you with our dedicated training team. Selecting is hard work, so we pay a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency—the better you perform, the more you earn. On average, our selectors take home 122% of their base salary.
Pay
Starting at $20.90/hour + $1.00 shift incentive. Plus, earn two pay raises in your first year. You can earn more per hour for speed and efficiency.
Schedule
Four-day work week that rotates every 4 months:
- Rotates between Mon/Tues/Thurs/Friday, Tuesday-Friday, Sunday-Wednesday
- You would always have Saturdays off
- Shift time: 6 PM until finish (depends on case volume but averages an 8-10 hour shift)

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed (holidays are very important to our customers)
- Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (we have frozen products)
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
- Successfully pass a drug test and background check
- Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required
