Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor - HdG

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site equipment maintenance evaluations with maintenance teams to identify maintenance practices needing improvement.
• Provide technical on-the-job training for maintenance personnel to improve skills, maintenance, and repair best practices.
• Cookordination with Operations, Central Services, and Engineering personnel for scheduled maintenance and equipment repairs, as well as capital projects.
• Provides leadership for Safety, Health, and Environmental issues.
• Develop and improve equipment support and service to operations.
• Manage and analyze the maintenance department's budgeting and monthly costs.
• Contingency planning to include maintaining critical spares where plausible.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing and supervising maintenance and production employees at an aggregate, sand/gravel, or asphalt plant operation is preferred.
• Technical skills in all areas of maintenance are required.
• Must be able to provide strong leadership and mentorship to employees, both direct and indirect reports, to motivate and maintain interpersonal relationships.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of mobile and plant equipment, MSHA regulations, engineering principles and procedures, and project management skills.
• Must be an excellent motivator and team builder. Must be able to form strong social relationships and effectively communicate.
• Knowledge and experience leading financial performance to established targets, meeting or exceeding performance goals.

Skills

Benefits

• The salary range for this role is $110,648 to $131,610 annually, inclusive of the regional supplement and shift differential.
• Rotating Shift Schedule: Two supervisors will work a four-day on, four-day off schedule to provide adequate support to our maintenance team at Havre de Grace.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $110,648 to $131,610 annually, inclusive of the regional supplement and shift differential.
