Role Overview
This position combines leadership and clinical expertise as a House Supervisor and Float Pool RN. You will serve as the on-site leader during various shifts, overseeing operations, staffing, patient flow, and responding to urgent events to ensure safe and efficient care across departments. Additionally, you will provide high-quality nursing care, assess patient needs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and adapt to different units and patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Lead hospital-wide operations during assigned shifts, coordinating staffing and managing patient throughput.
- Respond to urgent situations, including codes and rapid responses, escalating issues when necessary.
- Mentor and support clinical teams with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Deliver individualized patient care, utilizing critical thinking and adaptability across units.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program with a current RN license.
- At least three years of hospital nursing experience, with a preference for five years.
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS prior to first shift.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
