Night Shift Freezer Receiver

About the role

Join a team dedicated to feeding communities as a Receiver/Checker. Ensure accurate receipt of merchandise, checking for damage, infestation, and correct quantities. Record shipment data, maintain inventory accuracy, and support smooth warehouse operations. Perform labeling, verify inbound freight against purchase orders, and report discrepancies. Handle various warehouse tasks, including cycle counting and addressing customer service issues related to shortages, damages, or overages. Work environment may include freezer temperatures (-10 to 40 degrees).

Responsibilities

• Verify contents against records, ensuring accuracy and recording data.
• Maintain inventory through cycle/directed counting.
• Monitor open invoices and support efficient flow from receiving to shipping.
• Label pallets, verify freight accuracy, and document discrepancies.
• Perform additional tasks as per SOP and company needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months warehouse experience.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and lift 30-70 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours and operate necessary equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to policies.

Skills

• Electric pallet jack experience preferred.
