Night Shift Construction Manager
Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate all night shift construction site activities, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Collaborate with day shift team for effective shift turnover and project continuity. Lead and supervise multi-discipline construction teams, with a focus on MEP trades. Manage large-scale or multiple small to mid-cap projects, preferably in the Life Science industry. Ensure strong adherence to safety culture and Safety First practices. Plan and coordinate specialized piping activities such as pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, passivation, blowdown, and drying. Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding schedules, sequencing, and conflict resolution. Monitor and enforce quality control/assurance, as well as commissioning and qualification processes, especially for MEP and cleanroom/GMP systems. Utilize LEAN strategies and technologies (e.g., Last Planner System, 5S Construction, off-site manufacturing) for project execution. Review, interpret, and execute project schedules using Primavera P6 and LPS software (e.g., vPlanner, Hoylu). Apply advanced knowledge of construction sequencing, building systems, and 3D technologies (Navisworks, Revizto, BIM360, REVIT). Foster team development, client relationship building, and a collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with project delivery methods, contract management, and industry standards. Adapt to a fluctuating night shift schedule (alternating between 4 and 5 nights per week). Support the health and well-being of team members and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of construction sequencing, building systems, and 3D technologies (Navisworks, Revizto, BIM360, REVIT)
- Experience managing large-scale or multiple small to mid-cap projects, preferably in the Life Science industry
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Experience with LEAN strategies and technologies (e.g., Last Planner System, 5S Construction, off-site manufacturing)
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and LPS software (e.g., vPlanner, Hoylu)
- Compliance with project delivery methods, contract management, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant construction management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with MEP trades and cleanroom/GMP systems
- Experience with project scheduling and management tools (Primavera P6, LPS software)
- Experience with 3D technologies (Navisworks, Revizto, BIM360, REVIT)
- Experience with LEAN strategies and technologies (e.g., Last Planner System, 5S Construction, off-site manufacturing)
- Experience with project delivery methods, contract management, and industry standards
