Night Picking Associate/Driver (2:30pm - 10:30pm)

About the role

To cut cartons, replenish to pick face locations, and label and locate pick cartons for customer fulfillment. May fill customer loose book orders in open carton/conveyor environment, using Pick-To-Voice technology, WMT technology and RF units.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the goals set by Picking Supervisor to achieve 1‑day turnaround of all orders (Productivity).
• Master PTV picking technology, WMT technology and stay attentive to issues of customer satisfaction (Accuracy/Quality).
• Report all system problems, damages and errors found to Coordinator, Lead or Supervisor (Communication).
• Work in groups with the Coordinator to shift into unfinished tasks throughout the warehouse (Teamwork/Flexibility).
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Be dependable in working established shift schedules (Reliability).
• Operate Walkie Rider and/or Stand‑up Counterbalance equipment.
• Replenish product to Flow Bay and shelf locations using an RF unit; some locations are up to 6 ft high and involve loads up to 50 lb.
• Load and sort cartons from a conveyor system onto pallets for drop‑zone delivery in the Replenishment Cutting Area; cartons up to 50 lb may need to be carried up to 75 ft.
• Perform Carousel Replenishment by loading loose pieces into locations using portable stairs or ladder to reach up to 4 ft.

Requirements

At least a high school diploma or equivalent. Grade school reading level.

Skills

• Ability to work both independently and with groups in a productive and consistent manner.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a repetitive motion for extended hours.
• Ability to understand WMS and WMT technologies and follow instructions.
• Experience with Pick-To-Voice technology helpful.
• Ability to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 50 pounds; up to 8 hours a day.
• Climb stairs or ladder to a height of 4 ft. repeatedly for extended hours.
• Ability to stand on concrete for 8 hours/day.
