Night Operator

About the role

We are seeking dependable and skilled Night Operators to join our dynamic team near Catarina, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to support cutting-edge oilfield operations on a 12+ month project.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production assets using advanced SCADA/Cygnet systems to monitor equipment and identify issues proactively.
• Utilize expertise with Plunger Lift Systems to troubleshoot and maintain smooth operations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team leads, gather and input production data using eVIN software, and ensure all operating procedures are followed accurately.
• Optimize asset performance by helping to identify and address operational challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ oilfield experience, specifically with Plunger Lift Systems.
• Strong knowledge of artificial lift and plunger lift operations.
• Proficiency with SCADA/Cygnet systems and production software (eVIN).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and production issues.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Additional experience with other oilfield equipment or automation systems.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental protocols in oilfield settings.
• A basic understanding of reservoir management and production optimization.

Preferred Education and Experience

• A high school diploma required; technical certifications or further education in oilfield operations a plus.
• At least 3 years of hands-on oilfield experience, with a focus on artificial lift systems.

Other Requirements

• Must reside within 50-60 miles of Catarina, TX.
• Ability to work in a 7/7 night shift rotation, with a schedule that supports a long-term commitment.
• Willingness to adhere to safety standards and company policies.
