About the location
A rare gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is an exclusive collection of 156 luxurious beachfront private residences and a 222-room hotel within a 125-acre walkable coastal village in the heart of Old Naples. About the role
The Night Manager acts as manager on duty for the Resort during the overnight shift, overseeing all overnight staff, managing the front drive, resolving guest-related issues, and handling special requests to ensure exceptional service and a seamless guest experience. This role ensures accurate communication and follow-up on problems, guest requests, and special requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead staff and overnight operations to ensure consistency in guest service and adherence to operational standards.
- Ensure all employees perform assigned tasks and coordinate Front Office communication with other departments.
- Keep overnight staff informed of nightly activities, group and VIP arrivals, in-house guests, and special requests.
- Process all financial transactions, including verification and processing of credit card transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Perform night audits on time, ensuring accuracy on all audit paperwork and shift reports; deliver financial reports as required.
- Ensure timely compilation of Front Office reports for the Morning Operational Meeting.
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out as needed, ensuring a warm welcome, accurate billing, and efficient service.
- Act as the senior manager on duty in the absence of senior leadership, taking swift action in emergencies, safety, or guest-related situations with support from Overnight Security staff.
- Resolve customer complaints from all areas of the resort, handling interactions with hospitality and professionalism while accommodating special requests.
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Document employee issues and implement corrective action to maintain high service standards.
- Conduct a formal handover to the relieving manager in the morning.
- Ensure standards are met, staff are supported, guest satisfaction is maintained, and all guest requests are responded to accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in Front Office or Rooms Division.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel setting is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and challenge a diverse team.
- Computer proficiency with knowledge of hotel operating systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of autonomy.
- Direct guest contact requires strong personal presentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required; current work authorization in the United States is mandatory.
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
