Night Laborer - Menzer Quarry

About the role

Schmidt Construction part of the Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Laborer to work at our Menzer Quarry in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor around the plant area (i.e. shoveling) to keep area accessible and clean
• Service equipment as needed (i.e. minor adjustments, lubrication)
• Report any noticeable malfunctions or damage to equipment
• Clean material build-up on conveyors, catwalks, and screens
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Basic Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and ability to push, pull, and/or pry
• Ability to sit, stand or walk for an extended period of time and work in an environment with noise and temperature variations
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle

Skills
