Night Float Anesthesiologist - Boynton Beach, FL

About the Role

Envision Healthcare is seeking a Night Float Anesthesiologist for Bethesda Hospitals East and West in Boynton Beach, Florida. This opportunity features a one-week-on, two-weeks-off night float model with coverage from 5:30 pm to 6:30 am. Coverage is split equally between Bethesda East (in-house) and Bethesda West (from home with back-up beeper call). The night float team consists of six physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesia and OB coverage (no cardiac or pediatric cases).
• Work in a care team model with CRNAs and Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs), as well as physician-only cases.

Facility Details

Bethesda Hospital East, part of Baptist Health South Florida, is a 400+ bed facility offering a wide range of services, including 24/7 emergency care, maternity care with a Level III NICU, and advanced specialties in cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedics, and women’s health. The hospital features minimally invasive robotic surgery and an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. It is also a teaching hospital through its partnership with Florida Atlantic University’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and trains future nurses and radiographers.

Annual case volume exceeds 21,000, including General, OB, GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, Spine, Vascular, Regional, and Neuro cases.
