Night Dispatcher (9:00pm to 6:00am)

About the role

We are growing and currently in search of a Night Terminal Dispatcher to join our team at our Pasadena, Texas location. At DCI, Night Dispatchers are the oil that keeps our terminal running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Dispatch truck drivers for pick-ups at customer locations, local ports, and railroads
• Confirm proper bookings and billings to meet customer requirements
• Enter data in the computer for planning and general information
• Provide necessary communications to the terminal regarding specific customer requests
• Be willing to work extended hours to meet and exceed customer needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Safety Compliance
• Familiarity with DOT safety compliance
• Thrives off working in a high-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize/multitask
• Computer savvy
