Night Crew Selector

About the Role

Night shift position in a warehouse environment with varying temperature zones, including freezer, perishable, and grocery areas.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Utilize pick sheets to select products.
• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Operate pallet jack to remove cases of product from storage racks.
• Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull processes daily; report all safety concerns in the work environment on a timely basis.
• Move orders to loading dock to prepare for shipping.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Maintain product integrity with proper handling and report damage to management immediately.

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking, kneeling, standing, squatting, bending, reaching overhead.
• Lifting 50+ lbs.

Requirements

• Ability to manage time in a fast-paced industry.
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual with a positive attitude; ability to work well independently and with a team.
• Minimum 1-year experience in a distribution warehouse.
• Minimum 1-year experience using a ride-on pallet jack.
• Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments (freezer, perishable, and grocery zones).
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
