Summary

- Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. - Responsible for stocking grocery products, unloading trucks and ensuring that the aisles of the store are kept neat and clean. - Responsible for meeting customer needs through providing well stocked and accurately priced merchandise to promote an optimal opportunity for sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Responsible for performing merchandising functions for the Grocery Department to include stocking product, pricing, signing, price changes and inventory checks.
• Return excess merchandise to Back Room area per corporate guidelines.
• Responsible for unloading merchandise from trucks.
• Stock products throughout the retail unit according to company procedures.
• Must follow all company standards regarding sanitation (i.e.: floors, shelves, and back room area).
• May be required to process customer orders as business needs dictate.
• Retrieve shopping carts and return them to designated areas.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
