Night Crew Lead - BID

We’re looking for a Night Crew Lead who maintains standards in the sales area, stocks shelves, and builds guest loyalty through exemplary customer service. This role ensures our store is fully prepared for the morning and day ahead.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority for Team Members, guests, and products.
• Cultivate a foodie culture by sharing excitement and passion for food.
• Perform all functions of a Team Leader in their absence when necessary.
• Direct Team Members using work lists and perform all duties of an Overnight Team Member, including training and evaluating new and current Team Members.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Prepare products for stocking by unpacking pallets, loading flats, and pricing items.
• Write department orders, monitor ordering, and supervise stocking and receiving using automated systems.
• Track and reduce out-of-stocks and participate in physical inventories.
• Utilize tools to reduce and eliminate shrink.
• Provide exceptional guest service, exceeding expectations for internal and external guests.
• Understand and use Guest Service Initiatives and Measurement tools (e.g., Voice of Guest, Mystery Shoppers).
• Respond to guest inquiries, special orders, and product requests.
• Address customer care calls and provide coaching to Team Members not meeting service standards.
• Build the store’s product assortment by cultivating relationships with guests, vendors, and suppliers.
• Follow company sampling, suggestive selling, and Day of the Week Merchandising initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, exceeding health and OSHA requirements.
• Comply with and perform self-assessments for steritech, internal, and external audits.
• Complete incident prevention checklists as required.
• Follow work designs and methods, updating as needed per 6s requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, and track records for inventories and work processes to calculate monthly gross profits.
• Use and navigate company applications such as GE Central, RTM system, and email.
• Attend and conduct daily team huddles as directed by the Team Leader.
• Understand and adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies.
• Report any incidents in violation of guidelines or policies.
• Respond to emergency situations and follow the help chain.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of experience.
• Desire to become a Non-union Team Leader.
• High school diploma or equivalent (desired).
• CPR certification or licensing (required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• At least 18 years of age.
