NIGHT COOK (FULL TIME)
About the role
Eurest is hiring a full-time NIGHT COOK position at Micron Cafe located at 36 Nights - 8000 S Federal Way, Boise, ID 83716. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is Full time, Friday-Tuesday 5:00 pm - 1:00 am. An internal Employee Referral Bonus is available.
Responsibilities
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
- Serves meals and prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, and ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and arranged nicely.
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked during service periods.
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat and ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
- Aids in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
- Aids in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
- Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must know how to cook in a commercial kitchen.
