Job Summary
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit of hotel transactions, ensuring accurate balance.
- Check guests in and out, handle requests, and provide information.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Provide wake-up calls and perform other guest services as needed.
- Handle financial transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Communicate with the next shift and management team, noting issues or important information.
- Monitor security of the hotel during the night, responding to emergencies or disturbances.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of hotel equipment and systems, escalating issues as necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
- Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in the use of computers and hotel management software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

- Ability to stand, walk, and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Visual and auditory ability to operate office equipment, including computers and phones, and to respond to emergencies.
