Job Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit of hotel transactions, ensuring accurate balance.
• Check guests in and out, handle requests, and provide information.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports to management team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Provide wake-up calls and perform other guest services as needed.
• Handle financial transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Communicate with the next shift and management team, noting issues or important information.
• Monitor security of the hotel during the night, responding to emergencies or disturbances.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of hotel equipment and systems, escalating issues as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in the use of computers and hotel management software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds occasionally.
