About the role

This is an opportunity for a detail-driven hospitality professional who enjoys the calm focus of overnight work, the satisfaction of a balanced ledger, and the occasional chance to turn a tired traveler's late-night arrival into a warm Nashville welcome. You'll be the steady presence behind the desk and behind the numbers, helping ensure every day begins with a clear, accurate financial story.

Responsibilities

  • Audit, balance, post, and report daily cash and credit activity for front desk, rooms, and food-and-beverage operations.
  • Review hotel transactions with a sharp eye for accuracy, identifying discrepancies and helping protect the hotel, brand, and assets from liability or fraud.
  • Complete the nightly audit process and finalize reports only after all revenue is balanced and properly recorded.
  • Reset registers and prepare financial systems for a smooth, accurate start to the next business day.
  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting that helps hotel leadership understand the day's performance and make informed decisions.
  • Provide polished, attentive front-desk service for overnight guests, handling questions, requests, arrivals, and concerns with courtesy and confidence.
  • Create the kind of calm, capable late-night experience that makes travelers feel welcome—even after a delayed flight or a long drive into Music City.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and enjoy working with facts, figures, systems, and reconciliations.
  • Accounting, hotel operations, front desk, or cash-handling experience is valued, though an accounting background is preferred rather than required.
  • Communicate with warmth and professionalism, both in person and over the phone.
  • Comfortable using office technology, hotel software, registers, and computer-based reporting tools.
  • Can work independently, stay organized during quiet overnight hours, and know when a guest needs your full attention.
  • Able to occasionally lift luggage weighing up to 50 pounds.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Life insurance
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • 401(k) plan
  • Supplemental insurance options
  • Professional growth and development opportunities
  • Hotel travel discounts
  • Compensation based on experience
