Night Audit Supervisor

About the role

The Night Audit Supervisor ensures that all night audit work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nightly audit: Supervise nightly auditing, posting, and balancing of financial transactions across departments
• Lead day-to-day team operations: Create team schedules, assign tasks, lead pre-shift meetings, and provide training, guidance, and in the moment feedback
• Post and reconcile transactions: Ensure timely posting of all revenues and reconciliation of the day's financial reports and credit card systems
• Maintain accuracy: Monitor cashier accuracy by reviewing and verifying cashier reports, correcting errors, and ensuring alignment with system data
• Support overnight operations: Partner with the Night Manager to handle guest issues and assist in emergency situations as needed

• Experience in a similar role preferred
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
