About the role
The Benefit Plan Audit Supervisor will participate in and lead engagement audits and document reviews for 5500 pension and profit-sharing/401k plans. Responsibilities include performing compliance testing, benefit calculations, and preparing benefit statements, as well as supervising staff performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead engagement audits and document reviews for 5500 pension and profit-sharing/401k plans.
- Perform compliance testing and benefit calculations.
- Prepare benefit statements.
- Supervise and support staff performance.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience with retirement plan audits.
- Bachelor’s Degree and CPA certification (or in progress).
- Knowledge in Qualified 401k designation or experience with Datair Software is a plus.
