About the role

Built in 1886 as a showpiece for Cattle Baron Jesse Driskill, The Driskill is a legend in Texas hospitality, known throughout Austin for its elite level of service and luxurious accommodations. As a Night Auditor, you will be the face of The Driskill Hotel on the overnight shift, responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Auditing all charges and postings and correcting work as necessary
• Reconciling daily activity and closing all accounts in preparation for the new business day
• Processing, formatting, and distributing daily reports for multiple divisions
• Processing all payments according to hotel requirements
• Interacting with colleagues in a professional manner and assisting other departments throughout the hotel
• Resolving all guest concerns and compliments in a professional, timely, and courteous manner

Qualifications

• Must have an open schedule to work overnights throughout the week, weekends, and holidays
• Prior overnight work experience preferred
• Prior hotel night audit or front desk experience an asset
• Good communication skills
• Computer skills required, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Must be able to multi-task and possess problem-solving skills
