Night Audit - FT and PT Available
About the role
The Night Auditor plays an important role in the overnight guest experience by balancing daily financial activity, assisting guests, supporting hotel operations, and ensuring the property remains secure and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, complete check-ins, assign rooms, and provide exceptional service throughout the overnight shift
- Make and confirm guest reservations and update guest information in the property management system
- Verify guest payment information and ensure accurate account records
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
- Complete end-of-day financial reporting, income audits, and daily revenue balancing
- Review guest accounts and charges during the checkout process
- Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Contact overnight housekeeping or maintenance teams when guest issues arise
- Provide information regarding hotel services, local dining, entertainment, shopping, and travel directions
- Record guest feedback and escalate concerns to management when needed
- Complete account reviews and "bucket checks" to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel standards
- Support additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Previous hotel, resort, front desk, or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete financial tasks accurately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and willingness to support a team environment
- Strong guest service skills and a commitment to creating memorable experiences
- Experience with hotel property management systems preferred

Schedule
Hospitality requires a flexible schedule. Team members may be required to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on business needs and seasonal demands.
