NIFTIC: FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPER

Niftic is looking for a skilled front-end developer to join our vibrant team of strategists, designers, and developers. In this role, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing to life exceptional digital experiences. This position is remote-friendly but requires being primarily within a North American time zone.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other engineers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into user-friendly websites or applications
• WordPress development: including theme development, building custom Gutenberg blocks, and site maintenance
• Use Vanilla JS and CSS to build A/B experiments
• Conduct code reviews, identify & resolve technical issues, and maintain coding standards
• Internal tooling: creating and maintaining internal libraries and suggesting process improvements

Requirements

• Expertise with HTML, CSS, and Vanilla JS
• Good understanding of PHP and WordPress development
• Comfort with a CSS pre-processor like SCSS
• Experience with a JS framework such as React, Angular, Svelte, or Vue
• Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability/motivation to work independently
• Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required for success in a remote environment
