Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care to complex neonatal patients in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric physicians, and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Act as a preceptor and charge nurse when needed, demonstrating clinical expertise and teamwork.
• Use strong communication skills to foster a positive environment and support family interactions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and high-reliability standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with an Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Must hold a valid CT RN license and BLS certification.
• Additional specialty certifications may be required.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver and evaluate patient care, work collaboratively, and adapt to technological advancements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and organizational abilities are essential.
