Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care to complex neonatal patients in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric physicians, and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Act as a preceptor and charge nurse when needed, demonstrating clinical expertise and teamwork.
- Use strong communication skills to foster a positive environment and support family interactions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and high-reliability standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with an Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Must hold a valid CT RN license and BLS certification.
- Additional specialty certifications may be required.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver and evaluate patient care, work collaboratively, and adapt to technological advancements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and organizational abilities are essential.
