About the role
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
Responsibilities
- Care for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in the plan of care.
- Organizes and prioritizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others.
- Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares the room environment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- BLS NRP preferred
- At least 1 year of RN NICU experience
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

- Facility: BayCare Health System, Neonatal Intensive Care - NICU-MCH
- Location: Mease Countryside
- Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
- Shift Hours: 6:45PM - 7:15AM Shift
- Shift: Shift 3
- Weekend Work: Every Other
- On Call: Yes
