Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for premature/critically ill infants.
  • Maintain vigilance over vital signs, administer medications, manage ventilators/equipment, and support families.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and transport teams for seamless care.
  • Ensure safety, documentation, and adherence to protocols.

Requirements

  • Active Texas RN license (or compact).
  • Minimum 1–2+ years NICU experience required.
  • BLS/NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong clinical skills, compassion, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced night environment.
