About the role

The Ministry of Tourism seeks a dedicated and experienced individual to contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of its mandate. The role requires a commitment to public service and the ability to perform duties with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Performing administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the relevant supervisor.
• Contributing to the planning and implementation of departmental projects and activities.
• Ensuring compliance with Ministry policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Preparing reports, briefs, and other documentation as required.
• Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
• Undertaking any other duties as may be delegated by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from a recognized University.
• Must be a Zambian citizen.
• Must be aged between 18 and 45 years.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Must be registered with the relevant professional body where applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of the Public Service Act and regulations will be an added advantage.
