NH - Specialist, Recreational Therapeutic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation
• Note: Bachelor’s Degree in one of the Expressive Arts Therapy disciplines may be accepted as equivalency.
• Minimum two (2) years full-time experience in a clinical residential setting with any of the populations served by the facility.
• Internship or Master's coursework may be considered as part of experience requirement.
• Certification by National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification - Professional Level [CTRS]; Note: Expressive Arts Therapist credential may be accepted as equivalency.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, reaching, walking throughout the working day.
• Position will be required to stoop, bend, lift, and carry items weighing or exerting force up to 75 pounds.
