Responsibilities
- Implement a resident care plan
- Perform direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Delegate suitable components of the care plan to nursing assistants, provide guidance and supervision when necessary
- Consult with and validate data
- Record pertinent information in the patient record
- Identify and evaluate the resident's response to health problems and treatments
- Communicate residents' care needs to others involved in the care
- Assume responsibility for professional growth and development
- Other duties as assigned by the director of nursing
- Oversee and implement a resident plan of care as a working leader
Requirements
- Active RN Nursing License
