About the role

Prevent theft and fraud in the area of the Resort, and help ensure a safe and orderly environment for guests and employees. As a customer-focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide uniform foot patrol on company property and grounds
• Provide safety protection of main resort property, employees, and guests
• Assist Supervisor, if needed, as a liaison between local authorities and Loon Mountain
• Assist in the investigations of accidents, injuries, and suspected crimes
• Complete reports, logs, and other required written documents
• Perform security activities, traffic control, and aid to the public as required (e.g., lost keys, dead batteries, etc.)
• Operate vehicles including but not limited to cars and trucks
• Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the Resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintaining a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor
• Effectively communicate via radio

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
