  • Deliver site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
  • Monitor contractor safety performance and participate in contractor safety meetings and reviews.
  • Support emergency preparedness, including drills, first response coordination, and liaison with emergency services.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, statistics, and reporting for the assigned site.
  • Promote worker engagement in safety through field conversations, recognition, and feedback programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of safety experience in mining or heavy construction environments, including supervisory or superintendent-level experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of MSHA regulations; MSHA instructor certification preferred.
  • Experience in multi-contractor construction project environments preferred.
  • Current first aid/CPR certification; emergency response experience an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong field presence with the ability to engage and influence frontline crews.
  • Practical, solutions-oriented approach to managing safety in dynamic work environments.
  • Effective coaching, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Competent in incident investigation techniques and safety data management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize across multiple active work fronts.

Benefits

  • Paid time off.
  • Company-sponsored medical clinics.

  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
  • Endless opportunities to grow and learn with industry colleagues.
  • Access to a variety of career opportunities across the organization.
