NF/Classified MS Basketball Assistant Coach

Responsibilities
- Complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position (unless the ASEP Coaches Education Course was completed prior to May 15, 2013).
- Maintain annual certifications as required by state law and TSSAA/TMSAA, including:
- Concussion Certificate (copy on file with School Level Athletic Director).
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate (copy on file with School Level Athletic Director).
- NFHS Heat Illness Prevention course (copy on file annually).
- NFHS COVID-19 Course for Coaches and Administrators.
- Ensure all applicable certifications are documented and kept on file by the School Level Athletic Director.
