Newscast Director

About the role

WBFF is looking for an Overdrive Director for our newscasts.

Responsibilities

• Show build (using Ross Overdrive) and direct any assigned newscasts and productions
• Help oversee show production on a daily basis
• Maintain production studio and control room
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned

Requirements

• 2-5 years experience directing newscasts
• Experience with Ross Overdrive is a huge plus
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
• Strong typing and spelling skills
• The ability to read and write
• A college degree is preferred
• Must be able to lift and position 25 pound lighting instruments

Pay

The hourly compensation range for this role is $21.05 to $24.76. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
