News Videographer
About the role
We are seeking a creative full-time News Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of ENG experience with a network affiliate news organization.
Responsibilities
- Cover day-to-day general, in-depth features and investigative assignments
- Shoot full high definition (HD) on SD cards and edit on desktops and laptops using Adobe Premiere
- Show strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems
- Produce compelling stories under tight deadlines
- Work as a team or independently
- Lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Work nights and weekends (shift TBD)
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
- Team-player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to operate ENG news vehicles
- Able to edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages
- Able to work as a team or independently
- Able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Willing to work nights and weekends (shift TBD)
Pay
The base hourly compensation range for this role is $16.50 to $17.68 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
